Introduction to copyright

Copyright and intellectual property laws and contracts present a significant challenge to TEOs and staff engaged in e-learning development and delivery particularly in New Zealand. The e-Learning Guidelines Project has resulted in the creation of an information resource for academics and their managers. This resource includes an overview of copyright law and concepts for educators, a series of faqs for academics and guidance for managers considering policy implications. These resources are licensed with the creative commons and can be freely adapted by institutions as needed.
