Staff of the UTDC
ResponsibilitiesMeegan is responsible for developing, coordinating and providing academic development in teaching and learning for Victoria's Māori and Pacific academic staff and for casual and sessional academic staff. She also contributes, as needed, to the work of the UTDC in the areas of academic development, policy advice, consultation, teaching, and research into teaching and learning. Background

She also undertook post graduate studies, along with teaching and research roles, at Te Kawa a Māui in the late 90's before joining Continuing Education and Executive Development in 2001 where she worked for almost 4 years as the Poutaki/Senior Programme Manager Māori. Meegan then had a stint in the private sector as CEO for Wellington-based Māori training company, Cultureflow, before taking up her current position at UTDC as Lecturer in Academic Development, with a particular focus on Māori, Pacific and tutor staff development. She brings with her 14 years of experience in the areas of professional development and lifelong learning course development, delivery and evaluation.
